Lok Sharma
Hello and Namaste! I’m Lok Sharma, a certified and experienced yoga instructor based in Swindon, with deep roots in the traditional practices of India. My yoga journey began in my mid-twenties, and from the very first session, I felt an undeniable shift—a surge of energy, clarity, and connection that changed my life. Like many people, I came to yoga looking for something more. Within just a few months of regular practice, I found profound healing. Chronic issues like migraines, indigestion, mental fog, and fatigue began to fade. What replaced them was a sense of vitality, focus, and lightness that I hadn’t experienced in years. This personal transformation sparked a deep trust in yoga—and a calling to share it. Since 2016, I’ve been teaching yoga, committed to bringing the joy, depth, and benefits of yoga to people from all walks of life. This passion gave birth to YogLok—a space where ancient wisdom meets modern needs.I received my formal training from the Atma Darshan Yogashram, Bengaluru (branch of Bihar School of Yoga), one of India’s oldest and most respected institutions for classical yoga. The Bihar tradition emphasizes a holistic path—integrating asana, pranayama, meditation, and self-awareness—and it laid the foundation for everything I share today.

Vinutha Ramkumar
Namaste, my name is Vinutha, and I am currently based in Germany. I am a certified yoga teacher, and my journey with yoga began when I was 11 years old. As I grew older, my understanding of yoga became mostly centred around asana. I wanted to understand my body better, help myself and experience the benefits of the practice. This led me to undertake my Vinyasa Ashtanga Yoga teacher training from Mysore, India. As I experienced the changes within me, I began sharing the practice with others and found great joy in teaching. But somewhere along the way, I felt drawn towards the teachings of the Bihar School of Yoga. What opened up for me there was a completely different terrain. I began experiencing practices such as mantra yoga, yoga nidra, pratyahara and kayasthairyam, and slowly realised that yoga was so much more than what happens on the mat. These practices changed the way I looked at myself and at life. I began to understand that yoga can support us not only through the body, but also through the mind, breath and senses—and that its benefits can extend far beyond our time on the mat, into the way we live and experience our everyday lives. Everything I have received through this journey has made me deeply grateful. Teaching was never something I had planned, but gradually it became a natural way for me to give back to the tradition that has given me so much. Today, one of my greatest joys is seeing people experience even a small shift within themselves through yoga. Their happiness, peace and sense of connection remind me why I love sharing this practice. In teaching, I feel that I am not only giving, but also continuing to learn, experience and grow myself. My hope is simply to help more people discover what yoga can bring into their lives—not only through the body, but through the mind, breath and the way we experience life itself.
